The
Flaregas meter has been developed to measure flare gas in pipes
where low pressures, a wide range of velocities and large pipe
diameters represent a problem.
The Roxar Flaregas meter is an ultrasonic flare gas meter. The meter
is non-intrusive for all pipe diameters and have the largest
velocity range on the market.

Installation
The Roxar Flaregas meter has
specially designed mounting jigs for fast, economical
and accurate mounting of transducer holders. These
holders are welded onto the pipeline at an angle
suitable for each different pipe size.

Roxar Wetgas meter
The Roxar Wetgas meter is a unique instrument allowing
accurate measurement of hydrocarbon flow rates and water
production, with a very compact mechanical solution.
Accurate measurement of wet gas flow including water and
liquid detection is crucial for the operators of wet gas
producing fields for many reasons:
Well testing
Improved reservoir management
Production allocation
Optimized chemical injection to prevent hydrate formation
and corrosion
Direct Water Measurement
The Roxar Wetgas meter is the only available meter with
online and direct measurement of water in a wet gas flow.
This unique functionality allows direct measurement of water
at an early stage and as soon as it starts to be produced
from the well. This information is valuable for reservoir
management, for flow assurance and for optimizing the

meter can also distinguish between condensed water and saline
formation water such that early remedial actions can be initiated.

The subsea Wetgas meter is based on Roxar's extensive
experience with metering on subsea installations and is
designed for easy installation and cost-effective
maintenance.
All parts in contact with the process are passive or very
high reliability components and the electronics are
decoupled from high process temperatures in a separate
canister.
Measurement using the subsea Wetgas meter on each well can
allow commingling of production immediately downstream such
that the need for piping and valves is reduced. The
real-time information on water production at each wellhead
is especially valuable in subsea projects where intervention
costs are high. |
