XARIA
XARIA is an Automated Surface Observing Station of new
generation, developed by DEGREANE, in order to equip the new data
acquisition network of METEO-FRANCE named RADOME .
Applications
|
 |
Thanks to the use of a terrain digital bus, this station
allows a spread out settlement of sensors on measurement
sites. XARIA station also allows the automatic transmission
of data either in programmed or warning mode.
Used principles allow having a high-performance equipment
getting the ability to adapt to the range of environment and
operating constraints. This versatile adaptation is the
result of a robust and modular design of the system, based
on tested and up to date technologies.
Functions:
Processing of measured data is done using dedicated
modules, linked to a main system module by a terrain digital
bus allowing data acquisition from remote modules up to more
than 1 km. |
XARIA station performs the acquisition of the following
meteorological parameters:

• Temperature
• Relative humidity
• Rain fall
• Wind
• Radiation(s)
• Pressure
• Visibility
• Clouds base height |
AURIA
DEGREANE Horizon has developed AURIA station in order to equip
METEO-France's pluviometer network: AURORE network. The extended
version, AURIA E, has allowed replacing the MIRIA range of stations
for all type of applications.
Applications:
AURIA are compact, autonomous, user friendly and evaluative
stations designed for various applications such as climatologic,
agrometeorologic and synoptically (WMO) ones. To fulfill those
applications, the AURIA range expands from a basic version (holding
up to 4 sensors: temperature, rain, humidity and wetting) to the
AURIA E extended version for a greater sensors ability.
AURIA stations are built around an acquisition unit integrating a
low power microcontroller.
Functions:
The acquisition unit allows:
Sensors acquisition with metrological controls in real time or at
programmed time (function of the sensor) through high precision, low
power, advanced multichannel A/D converter or adapted digital
inputs.
The CIBUS (1) transmission protocol runs on AURIA E extended
versions.
Primary storage and high level processing of sensors data
Local operating on LCD screen
Local elaborated data storage on memory card (credit card format -
PCMCIA type)
Data transmission on private line, public telephone line, or
satellite channel.

MIRIA 5
MIRIA station has been developed by DEGREANE Horizon, in order
to equip the first French high-density network for acquisition:
PATAC. An improvement for aeronautic functions has been realized
from 1990 and developed for METEO-FRANCE ATOS network.
Applications:
MIRIA 5 is designed to capture, store and transmit data covering
a number of meteorological and climatologically data. It is used for
climatologically and aeronautical purposes. It is suitable for an
isolated station as well as for a network linked to a central site
by telephone lines, satellite, or radio.
Functions:
MIRIA 5 in climatology:
MIRIA 5 stores data in half-hourly blocks:
• Air temperature: immediate at half-hour end, highest and
lowest during past half-hour.
• Other temperatures: immediate at half-hour end.
• Humidity: immediate at half-hour end.
• Rain: 5 cumulative amounts for 6 minutes during the half-hour.
• Wind (strength and direction):
• Maximum strength and associated direction during the half-hour
|
• Average strength and associated average direction of the
last ten minutes.
• Wind flow measurement during the half-hour.
• Global radiation: cumulative amount of energy for 30
minutes.
• Moistening: duration in minutes. |
 |
|
MIRIA 5 in aviation:
• Direct linkage to any local aeronautical type sensor
(maximum of 5)
• Data acquisition and processing to OMM / OACI standards
• Data transmission on local network
The linkage of remote sensors via CIBUS type collecting
network ensures adaptability to any type of airport. |
